Who is TeleBiz?
Before launching TeleBiz in 2007, our business owner Rod Harris, had established and owned another prominent Telco Reseller business named TeleTalk which operated for fifteen years. TeleTalk was appointed the first Telstra Dealer in Australia (1992-2005) and then switched alliances to became the first Optus Master Partner appointed in Australia (2005-2006); opening numerous TeleTalk branches across QLD & NT.
Although TeleTalk won numerous awards and was a market leader in many categories, it always operated under a single up-stream Telco provider (initially Telstra, then Optus), which limited TeleTalk’s ability to provide a greater choice of products & services to its 50,000+ growing client database. Something had to change for the better!
In 2007, Harris made a very bold and unprecedented Telco sector decision at that time, by closing TeleTalk and simultaneously launching TeleBiz as an “Independent Telco Broker and Regional Service Provider (RSP)”, which is also headquartered in Cairns. The result has been a huge ongoing win/win situation for TeleBiz and our clients.
Hence, TeleBiz is very successful business, with an excellent reputation and expanding nationwide via franchisees.

ICT Technician with IT Networking experience (Full time) (Cairns)
Installing, configuring, monitoring and maintaining our excellent quality NBN/PBX/VoIP business phone systems
TeleBiz is an authorised Sales/Service Dealer for Alcatel, Hybrex, LG Aria, NEC & Panasonic, and many others.
Essential Applicant credentials:
1. Open ACMA license with endorsements or willingness to quickly obtain such at their cost.
2. Prior experienced in installing/maintaining commercial IT Networks and/or business phone systems
(you maybe an IT Technician also willing to maintain PBX systems with appropriate accredited training*).
3. Prior experience in configuring/fault finding within IT routing/networks and maybe SIP/VOIP networks.
4. Prior experience in basic configuring and basic fault finding within IT&T cabling networks (infrastructure).
5. Appropriate personal presentation with average or higher English literacy (writing and verbal skills)
6. QLD Drivers license (or ability to obtain one) and a safe driving record.

Taking the lead at TeleBiz in pro-actively recommending, developing and delivering upon strategic marketing plans. Producing content and managing campaigns across our various in-house CRM databases, regularly adding/updating content on web site & Facebook etc, producing blogs, prepping/distributing PR content, supervising tradeshows etc.
